We know many of you pray for us and the Tiale people, and we know many of you specifically pray for Selah, and as our way of saying “thank you”, here is a short video to show her going to church.
She absolutely loves the people and is loved by them.

As promised, the second testimonial of a student who came to the Lord.
Continue to pray for the Bible School as God seeks to save and then have men and women commit to growing in His Word.
The first course at the Bible School that the students study is, “Creation to Christ”. For the first month we lay the foundations in teaching the students their need for a Savior, as seen by both God’s character and His glorious plan to redeem a people unto Himself.
At the Bible School, we strive to not only arrange a Godly meeting for the students, but to also have them deepen their walk with Him over the course of 3 years.
The journey for these 2 men has just begun! Please pray for them as God shapes them into the image of His Son.
It is our privilege to witness firsthand what God is doing, and we try to then relay those stories to you all!
Thank you for following the journey, and thank you for YOUR part in prayer.

We want to say thank you all to those who specifically pray for the Bible School and the students God brought here!
God graciously saved 2 students, and here is a testimony (next week we will share the second one).
God is working in both the students and teachers alike; both saving those who need salvation, and then conforming those who are saved into the image of His glorious Son.
Thank you for your prayers and partnership!
Continue to pray for this student (along with the others) as God works in their lives!
Please continue to pray for the pastor/teachers as well!
Everyone must play their role for this mission to succeed!

Bible School has officially launched! 2025 is underway!
We have already completed 4 weeks of teaching. The student body is comprised of 10 students, from 5 different language groups, that represent 3 different islands of Vanuatu (of the 84).
For some of the students, it was the first time they heard a clear presentation of the Gospel (through firm foundations- course 1)… which led to 2 of the men accepting Jesus as their Savior.
Their testimony will be posted over the next two weeks, so stay tuned!
Thank you for praying for the students and teachers, God continues to reach Vanuatu with His glorious Gospel through the Tiale people and the Bible School.
We tried to capture a glimpse and share some of the culture tied to this event.
To summarize; not every child born, has a ceremony, the Tiale people wait till a certain age (hair grows and they start walking) before they have their version of a “birthday celebration”; because of the high infant mortality rate… they do not celebrate the birth of every kid… but instead wait till the child matures and achieves these markers…
Everyone comes to celebrate both the birth and “proof of life” that the child (Selah) has achieved. They know very well, that life is a gift and is a cause for celebration.
The most valuable thing they have culturally is a pig, thus offering up a harvest of taro and a pig shows the dedication of the parents in their joy for their child.
We alongside the Tiale people celebrate the life that God has given us through Selah Joy.
Thank you for following Selah’s journey in becoming part of the Tiale family.
These past two months have been rather busy, with having the hottest recorded April in Vanuatu’s history, the dry season not looking very dry, and having Selah “officially” becoming a Tiale-person. The Bible School is underway, and discipleship with the pastors and pastors-in-training occurring multiple times throughout the week.
Please make sure you are subscribed to see our videos that we post on social media!

Hundreds of people came from several villages to take part and witness this monumental event.
The Tiale people proudly call Selah “their own”, acknowledging the cultural significance of this event…
More pictures and details will be shown and explained next week!
Also, the Bible school officially launched this last week as well, please pray for the students as this is the first time for some to hear a clear Gospel.
This is the final interview (of this series)… this man feels led to possibly be a pastor of our local village. Please pray fervently for him as God continues to mold him into the image of Christ.
There are many cultural pressures that affect this young man on a day to day basis, and we are hoping to lead him through this in a way that glorifies God more.
The Bible School starts this week! Please pray for wisdom for us and the teachers, as well as praying for the students to be bold in their faith (shame is usually the biggest deterrent in their commitment to Christ).
We hope you liked this 8 part series! Thank you for following our journey and seeing how God is changing the lives of individuals!

This young man is also from Tiale land, but from several hours away, he and his wife are the only Christians in their village… the closest body of believers is nearly 4 hours hike away!
Pray for this man as he continues his journey, whether God leads him into pastoral ministry or the foundation for the next group of believers, he needs prayer.
We are getting closer to launching the next phase of students! Please pray for us and the 3 indigenous pastors/teachers as we are getting focused and ready to engage these next batch of believers.
